For a week, the NLMK Group conducted master classes and webinars at the Stoilensky Mining and Processing Plant to help improve the safety of all stakeholders in the production process. Each day was dedicated to a specific topic: admission to high-risk operations and issuing a work permit; working at elevated conditions; fire safety, etc. As part of these events, experts shared their experience in minimizing risks and tried to improve communication between contractors and NLMK employees when managing and performing work.
During a competition among employees, a 5th category repairman of Sever Minerals was awarded a valuable prize for his active involvement and correct answers to all the examiner’s questions, whereas the participant’s team was presented with a letter of gratitude.
