In early October, Sever Minerals held a client workshop focused on coal industry companies.
The event featured a business program where speakers talked about methods for increasing the efficiency of existing coal production facilities and the capabilities of process equipment available in the Russian market.
The participants had an opportunity to learn about an in-house line of Sever Minerals' conveyors. The Engineering Department’s Director spoke about the tools which allow to successfully implement greenfield and brownfield projects. Specialists working within the concentration business line presented Sever Minerals' capabilities in thickening coal slurries.
A Sever Minerals' strategic partner—ROITECH—also took part in the workshop. Its Technical Director spoke about ensuring the efficiency and reliability of a ROITECH-powered hydraulic transport system for coal factories.
The business part ended with a panel discussion where the guests talked about current industry issues. The subject of an active conversation was solutions that allow crushing industrial product into very small fractions, its further concentration, and extracting a useful component–a high-margin product. The participants also discussed automation equipment aimed at eliminating the human factor in excessive consumption of reagents and preventing emergency shutdowns of equipment.
