The main products of our customers

Pt   Platinum

Platinum (from the Spanish term platina, which is literally translated into "little silver") is a dense, malleable, ductile, highly unreactive, precious, gray-white transition metal.

Currently platinum is used in catalytic converters, laboratory equipment, electrical contacts and electrodes, platinum resistance thermometers, dentistry equipment, and jewelry.

One of our major client is Norilsk Nickel Group, the world’s largest producer of nickel.

Pt

Au   Gold

Gold (from Latin: Aurum) – it is a bright, slightly reddish yellow, dense, soft, malleable and ductile metal.
This precious metal is especially valuable in a jewelry industry.
Because of the softness of pure gold, it is usually alloyed with base metals for use in jewelry Zn, Ni, Co, Pd, altering its hardness and ductility, melting point, color and other properties.

Since 2015 there is one more big company in our list of clients – Polymetal International plc, a leading precious metals producer in Russia and Kazakhstan.

Au

Fe   Iron

Iron (from Latin: Ferrum). It is by mass the most common element on Earth.

Pure iron is relatively soft, so it is significantly hardened and strengthened by impurities from the smelting process. A certain proportion of carbon produces steel.

Among our customers in mining and steel-casting industries, there are PAO “Severstal” and EuroChem Group.

Fe

C   Diamonds

Diamond (from the ancient Greek ἀδάμας – adámas "unbreakable") is a native crystalline carbon that is the hardest known mineral. It is usually nearly colorless. When transparent and free from flaws it is highly valued as a precious stone. It is also used industrially, especially as an abrasive.
Diamond also has relatively high optical dispersion (ability to disperse light of different colors). Because of these facts, they are also very useful and popular in jewelry industry.

Today, we have got several customers in diamond mining industry. They are “ALROSA” and “Severalmaz”.

C

Ni   Nickel

Nickel is a naturally occurring, lustrous, silvery-white metallic element.
It is widely used in over 300,000 products. The biggest use is in alloying – particularly with chromium and other metals to produce stainless and heat-resisting steels.

One of our major client is Norilsk Nickel Group, the world’s largest producer of nickel.

Ni

ZrO2   Baddeleyite

Baddeleyite is a rare zirconium oxide mineral (ZrO2 or zirconia). It is transparent to translucent, has high indices of refraction, and ranges from colorless to yellow, green, and dark brown.

Baddeleyite was first found in Sri Lanka in 1892 and was named for Joseph Baddeley. Mainly used in ceramic industry and in refractories production.

Nowadays the only producer of baddeleyite concentrate in the world is our customer Kovdorskiy GOK.

(Na, Ka) AlSiO4
Nepheline

Nepheline is a rock-forming and an important feldspathoid mineral.
It is white, grey or yellow in colour with a vitreous lustre and a poor cleavage. The name Nepheline comes from the Greek word nephele, which means “cloud,” because it becomes strongly clouded when put in strong acid.
It is sometimes used as a substitute for feldspars in the manufacture of glass and ceramics. It is also used to manufacture aluminia for aluminium production, sodium and potassium carbonates, and portland cement.

One of our major client is AO “Apatit”, which produce nepheline concentrates.

(Na, Ka) AlSiO4

Cu   Copper

Copper (from Latin: Cuprum) – shiny, reddish copper was the first metal ever manipulated by humans, and it remains an important metal in industry today.
Used in large amounts by the electrical industry in the form of wire, copper is second only to silver in electrical conductance. Since it resists corrosion from the air, moisture and seawater, copper has been widely used in coins.

One of our major client is Norilsk Nickel Group, one of the world’s leading producers of copper.

Cu

Ca5(PO4)3   Apatite

Apatite is named for the Greek word apate, which means "deceit", since Apatite is similar in appearance to many other minerals
Apatite is the most common phosphate mineral, and is the main source of the phosphorus required by plants. The bones and teeth of most animals, including humans, are composed of calcium phosphate, which is the same material as Apatite.
Most of the phosphate rock mined throughout the world is used to produce phosphate fertilizer. It is also used to produce animal feed supplements, phosphoric acid, elemental phosphorous, and phosphate compounds for the chemical industry.

Among our customers who produce apatite concentrate there are Kovdorskiy GOK, AO “Apatit”, AO NWPC.

Ca5(PO4)3

Co   Cobalt

Cobalt (from the German word 'kobald', meaning goblin.) is a transition metal, perched in the midst of the Periodic Table. Long used in impure form as a pigment, this element now appears in magnets, high-tech turbines and even in cancer treatments. Like nickel, cobalt in the Earth's crust is found only in chemically combined form, save for small deposits found in alloys of natural meteoric iron.

One of our major client is Norilsk Nickel Group, one of the Russia’s leading producers of cobalt.

Co

Pd   Palladium

Palladium (from Latin: Palladium) is a rare, lustrous, silvery-white metal.

The largest use of palladium is in catalytic converters for automobiles. Finely divided palladium is used as a catalyst for hydrogenation/dehydrogenation reactions and for petroleum cracking. The metal is used in jewelry, dentistry, watch making, and in making surgical instruments and electrical contacts.
It is also used to purify hydrogen because the gas easily diffuses through heated palladium.

One of our major client is Norilsk Nickel Group, the world’s largest producer of palladium.

Pd

Ag   Silver

Silver is a precious metal because it is rare and valuable, and it is a noble metal because it resists corrosion and oxidation. Its high luster and reflectivity make it perfect for jewelry, silverware, and mirrors. Its malleability, which allows it to be flattened into sheets, and ductility, which allows it to be drawn into thin, flexible wire, make it the best choice for numerous industrial applications. Meanwhile, its photosensitivity has given it a place in film photography.

Since 2015 there is one more big company in our list of clients – Polymetal International plc, a leading precious metals producer in Russia and Kazakhstan.

Ag

C   Coal

Coal is a naturally occurring combustible material consisting primarily of the element carbon.

Coal is often referred to as a fossil fuel. The most significant uses of coal are in electricity generation, steel production, cement manufacturing and as a liquid fuel. Other important users of coal include alumina refineries, paper manufacturers, and the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Since 2015 there is one more big company in our list of clients – EVRAZ, one of the largest coking coal producers in Russia.
