Sever Minerals cooperates with Stroyservis group of companies for more than 5 years. The company specializes in mining and preparation of valuable coking coal grades. As part of Barzasskaya Coal Preparation Plant Project, Sever Minerals was entrusted with a task to improve the plant capacity from 2.5 million tonnes to 3.5 million tonnes of coal per year.
The company’s engineers proposed a turnkey solution that was fully compliant with the Terms of Reference and turned out to be the best solution as part of old equipment replacement project. Sever Minerals supplied 27 units of crushing-and-screening and pumping equipment, including 18 Roitech pump units in various standard sizes which perform utility functions for the coal plant.
All equipment was delivered just in time. All installation and commissioning activities were successful and in accordance with the schedule. The target was achieved — the current capacity of the plant is 3.5 million tonnes of coal per year.
